[Pre-order Product] UL SANYABUKURO (Pilgrimage Sacoche)

This is an ultra-light (UL) Sanya bag that Mr. Arai of NERDY MOUTAIN WORKS custom-made for me as a gift for the pilgrimage.

◇Towards the next generation of Sanya bags

The Sanya bag used for traditional pilgrimages weighs 400g and is heavy, and can hold too much.

And because it's made of cotton, it's highly absorbent and will get wet and become even heavier, and will be difficult to dry, even if it rains lightly.

So, Arai from NMW created a sacoche for the pilgrimage using X-PAC and DCFH , two materials commonly used in UL hiking culture and two of the most durable and lightweight materials available in the outdoor scene.

We wanted everyone to be able to use UL SANYABUKURO, so with the cooperation of Mr. Arai, we have commercialized it.

It looks great and weighs just 127g .

◇A structure that makes pilgrimages easy

Each is easy to manage.

The gusset is 5.5cm , so it can stand on its own when filled with items.

-There are two spaces that make up the main body.

One of the main compartments can be accessed by opening a zipper, so it's perfect for storing snacks you might not use often, earphones, pamphlets you've received, etc.

-Free pocket on the back

In addition, the back of the outside of the bag is designed so that you can take out and put in your smartphone, sutra book, etc. without having to open or close it , so you can check your smartphone or take out your sutra book, map, or wallet while you're on the move.

-Even without removing the sedge hat...

When removing the Sanya bag, you put it over your head, but the belt is attached and detached with a buckle, so you can remove it while still wearing the sedge hat.

The fabric is waterproof, but...

The fabric is waterproof, so it can withstand light rain without any problems.

However, you need to be careful in heavy rain . The seams are not specially sealed, so water will seep in through the seams on heavy rainy days. Please take measures such as putting on rain gear over the top or waterproofing the inside with a ziplock bag.
